The Role: We are looking for a self-motivated, dynamic Camera Technician to join our camera department at Direct Digital in Park Royal, London.This role involves managing camera rentals and sales, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining our camera equipment. Your responsibilities will include: Work in the Camera and Consumables department under direction of the General Manager. Welcome any clients and visitors, efficiently handle all client collections and returns, accept deliveries to the business informing individuals/departments where required. Add, process, pick and log all camera and consumables orders accurately, and ensure correct paperwork flow is followed. Actively and willingly seek to gain knowledge concerning the correct operation and capabilities of equipment within your area by attending training sessions and reading manuals. Be available for work on the times indicated on the rota for the division. Work in conjunction with other members in the department to maximise efficiency, maintain and develop the best interests of the department. Implement and maintain the company Health and Safety policy and procedures in the camera department. What you’ll bring to the role: Proven experience in the photography industry. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Proficient in camera equipment and software.
