Your Remit:To oversee and manage all aspects of the engineering department. Duties include: Lead the development of the Tankersley site to enable new product manufacture.Liaise with local authorities and other regulatory bodies to gain and maintain any relevant quality standards and manufacturing permits.To ensure that the site and the people on site operate safely and efficiently.To ensure that all products manufactured on site are manufactured to the product formulation and process instructions and meet the relevant Quality Control standards.Maintaining all machinery and buildings, including grounds and infrastructure using both internal and external resourcesEnsure compliance with BSI audits, insurance inspectionsKPI reporting in weekly and monthly reviewsManaging all site improvement and CAPEX projects What we are looking for Experience: Management and development of a small team and demonstrated experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.Person: Excellent planning, communication and decision making skills is essential. The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholder and other departmental functions. Demonstrable evidence of business acumen.Technical: A strong engineering background, project management skills, and familiarity with hazardous environments are essential. Proficiency in Process Safety Management, emergency response planning, and instrumentation/control systems is crucial. l. It would be desirable for you to have working knowledge of SAP, Six Sigma Green Belt and IOSH certified. Then we will offer you...
