Our target customer is a stylish and confident woman aged 24-45, with a busy lifestyle. Job Description We are seeking a talented and passionate Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for trends and a deep understanding of the UK market. Responsibilities: - Research and identify current and emerging fashion trends, focusing on the 24-45 age group and mum lifestyle. - Design and develop innovative denim and casual wear collections that align with the Ambela brand aesthetic. - Create detailed design sketches, technical packs, and material specifications. - Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are translated effectively into finished products. - Manage the sampling process, providing feedback on fit, fabric, and overall quality. - Adhere to design deadlines and budgets. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends. Requirements: - Strong understanding of the UK fashion market and consumer trends. - Willing to travel overseas with thee team to manufacturers 4-5 times a year. - Knowledge of fabric composition, construction, and sourcing. - Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. - A passion for fashion and a creative flair. While experience is a plus, we are open to candidates with a strong design portfolio and a proven ability to translate ideas into reality.
