Flexible working hours but MUST be willing to work in our office in London E1 2HP and live locally. Salary: £10 per hour & flexible working hours/days, can work between 2-4 days per week. Apply with your CV. We are looking for a talented and responsible individual who is passionate about social issues to join our small team based in London E1. First and foremost, we are looking for someone who is very strong, rigorous and committed researcher to undertake a periodical and comprehensive update of our databases, involving the verification and updating of contact details as well as researching potential participants and partners for the future. The researcher would double as an events coordinator and be expected to speak with the offices of outside organisations to verify contact details and confirm event participation details. We are a high-profile international development charity, who is helping to create lasting change to international development through unique partnerships with charities and aid organisations and we have several initiatives that the applicant would be providing valuable research for. We support charities through our convening, campaigning and policy initiatives to unlock funds for charities working on the ground. Your research will play a key part in bringing together a diverse range of partners and supporters so we can help lift people from desperate poverty. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain some experience in the charitable sector and gain research and administrative practice. The role would be subject to a paid trial period of 1-2 days. Essential Skills • Must have sufficient research and administration experience • Strong and effective researcher being able to assess and analyse large sums of information and have good ‘investigate’ skills • Able to communicate effectively over the phone, previous calling/ administration experience, ability to work well alone or in a team, committed, accurate and punctual. • Reliable IT skills such as being proficient in all Microsoft IT packages, ability to understand computer backup systems, archiving files, able to work with both Windows and Mac OS to a high level. • Good office administration skills are necessary as you will be coordinating inbound emails and general office management etc. Desirable Attributes: • Lives near to the office based in London, E1 2HP Salary: £10 per hours, flexible working days Part time employment, 2-4 days per week. 3 months internship.
