Current Opportunity: VP of Account Management, EMEA Location: UKHybrid role working from our office in London (Ealing). What you will do: WPO is actively looking for a VP of Account Management, EMEA to drive client relationship and success strategy for the EMEA region. This role will report directly to the Chief Customer Officer and is responsible for the management of a department of 24 Account Managers and Senior Account Managers across UK, France, Portugal, Belgium, Sweden and Dubai. The department is organized into three teams each led by a Director of Account Management. The position requires a proactive approach with the ability to deliver effective supervisory people management outcomes, setting team objectives, delivery of business and upsell targets, coaching and training staff, assisting team members with their client accounts on a day-to-day basis, acting as a lead representative for the business with clients, and, if appropriate, maintain a small number of assigned key client accounts. Additionally, the role involves supporting the CCO, collaborating closely with three other regional VPs of account management, and supporting other key WPO Departments, such as Sales and Service Delivery, in order to work towards the achievement of business objectives. Occasional travel will be required, as needed throughout the region and globally. Responsibilities: Oversee and support a team of Account Managers and Senior Account Managers, including onboarding, performance management, setting objectives, coaching, and mentoring. Collaborate with the Chief Customer Officer and Global Account Management on resource planning. Actively assist team members in the day-to-day development of both new and existing accounts, ensuring growth and client satisfaction. Serve as a lead representative in developing and maintaining client relationships. This includes attending client meetings, supporting up-sales, handling client renewals, and working with Business Development to secure new business opportunities. The Director will work closely with the Chief Customer Officer in these efforts. Ensure the delivery of agreed business performance outcomes, business planning objectives, and key deliverables in client account management. Responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on team revenue targets, reviewing and allocating team portfolios, analyzing team performance, recommending business improvements, and achieving set objectives. Foster strong relationships with Premier and Strategic clients to deliver exceptional and memorable customer experiences. Lead and support the team in planning and launching activities for new clients, while also assisting existing clients with ongoing initiatives and contact activities. Represent WPO at external company events, enhancing the company’s presence and relationships. Participate in ad-hoc projects and assignments as required by the department and the company. Any additional tasks pertinent to the position, as deemed appropriate by management. Qualifications/Skills: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Management, Business, or a related field. A background in Clinical or Psychology is a plus. Previous demonstrated experience is preferred in an account management or customer services roles working in B2B services sector and or with 3rd party re-sellers. Proven experience in a management role with a focus on both people and business management in a commercial environment. Additional experience in account management dealing with global clients is advantageous. Strong leadership and people management skills. Deep understanding the EAP/Wellness market. Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships. Expertise in business development and project management. Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines. Proven ability to navigate and manage relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders. At least 8 years of proven account management experience.
