This role involves carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance PPM and responding to breakdowns across the plant. The successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help implement effective maintenance strategies.Key Responsibilities: Perform PPMs to ensure plant machinery and equipment are maintained at optimal levels.Attend to and resolve breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.Collaborate with the maintenance team to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.Contribute to continuous improvement projects and maintenance strategies.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLCs Programmable Logic Controllers.Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Qualifications and Experience: Time-served apprenticeship or qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering.Proven experience in a heavy industry environment is preferred.Strong knowledge of PLC systems and experience with fault finding and repair.Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
