Van Driver - Mid Century Furniture Delivery

Job Overview: My client is seeking a reliable and physically fit Van Driver to join their team, specialising in the delivery of mid-century furniture. The role involves transporting furniture to various regions, including weekly trips to London, 1-2 days delivering to other regions, and a monthly trip to Scotland, with overnight accommodation provided. Key Responsibilities: Safely load, transport, and unload mid-century furniture. Deliver to customers in London once a week. Deliver to another designated region 1-2 days per week. Make one delivery trip to Scotland per month, involving overnight stays. Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner. Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Requirements: Valid UK driving license with a clean driving record. Experience driving vans or larger vehicles is preferred. Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy furniture items. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Flexibility to accommodate overnight trips as required. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Details: Competitive pay up to £13 per hour. Van provided Overnight accommodation provided for trips to Scotland. Opportunity to work with a passionate team in a dynamic environment. Regular working schedule with an average of 34 hours per week. 1 weekend day each fortnight will be required.
