They are looking for a highly organised individual with...My client, a long established law firm, are looking to expand their team with a Legal Assistant. They are looking for a highly organised individual with a background in Family Law to provide secretarial and administrative support. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently while maintaining high standards of work quality and client service. Responsibilities: - You will be working closely with a Family Solicitor on a one-to-one basis. - Open new cases in the client management system, including collecting and recording identification documents and initial payments, entering all relevant information into the electronic file, and producing initial documentation and correspondence. - Maintain Fee Earner calendars by scheduling meetings and appointments. - Assist in drafting legal documents such as court applications. - Handle client inquiries, manage correspondence, and accurately transcribe documents. - Organise files according to firm standards.
