Engagement Managers are delivery specialists in their area of expertise. In this case the world of Business Applications and more specifically the full scope of the Workday solution related to the Office of the oCFO and oCHRO within our Government Vertical. As an Engagement Manager at Workday you are more than just a Project Manager, you are a trusted advisor to our customers - you'll engage, guide and ensure success in their implementation of Workday's leading cloud enterprise software products for our Enterprise customers.As the engagement manager you drive our customers' implementations by setting up the project planning, staffing, governance and shaping the development of the key project results like the project charter or the issues log. As the main point of contact for both customer and Workday teams, it will important to build close relationships with the Customer Project Manager to resolve issues that stand in the way of project success. Management of the agreed budget is part of the roll to support delivery of the project efficiently and profitably. What you'll be doing Share your experience and provide oversight over other projects and their success within the framework of our Delivery Assurance quality controlProject manage Workday product implementationsParticipate in the sales cycle when requested to capture requirements, formulate delivery approach and develop a proposal/SOWProvide guidance and mentoring to Professional Services resources working on your implementationsEnsure projects are accurately planned and staffedCollaborate to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframesWork with Workday Partners to ensure project compliancePresent at Executive Steering Committee meetingsBe a liaison for Professional Services when interacting with sales and/or business developmentSee opportunities to position other service offeringsEnsure the client can serve as a reference upon completing their implementationAssist in the transition of the customer from Professional Services to Product SupportEnsure the project is delivered within the budget outlined in the SOW After your first 12 months we expect you to: Become an authority in Workday's Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagementsShare your knowledge and experience in the context of Delivery Assurance and internal initiativesDemonstrate competency in leading the Workday HCM, Financials, and/or Planning product suite implementationsHave Full project P+L ownership About You The role requires a blended mix of business skills, customer focus and desire to support the Delivery team to secure their success. Basic Qualifications 5+ years delivering complex enterprise business applications projects, including projects within Local and National Government Global deployment's experience is a great addition to your experience. Ability to travel up to 50% Location: London or Reading Other Qualifications Experience deploying, ERP technology solutions Proficiency in business English a must. Proficiency in any other European languages would be beneficial but not essential Experience/extensive knowledge of in Finance Processes and Human Resources processes knowledge Cross functional knowledge will be advantageous Strong presentation skills Willingness to 'roll up one's sleeves' and assist wherever needed. Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and follow-through Enjoying an environment of constant innovation and change Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-pace, collaborative environment Promote a positive and inclusive working environment.
