Qualifications and Experience needed as a Maintenance Fitter: A good amount of suitable working experience is more important than qualificationsHave a strong, practical mechanical systems background, heavy industry preferred - conveyors, drive systems, belts, bearings, shafts, pulleys etc.Possess a fault-finding mindset to identify defects and recommend appropriate actionPossess the ability to remove and fit bearingsAdheres to site-specific SHE procedures and Safe Working Practices.
