Knowledge of improving warehouse processes DesirableExperience in warehouse set ups Desirable The RoleLead, mentor, and manage a team of 30 to achieve daily operational goals.Ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, optimising space and resources.Allocation of workload to the correct persons / department.Maintain compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.Monitor and control inventory levels, addressing discrepancies and maintaining accuracy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline warehouse processes and workflows.Conduct regular inspections to ensure a clean, organised, and safe working environment.Prepare and present reports on performance and operational KPIs to upper management.Planning workflow within the warehouse.Involvement in disciplinaries, lateness, KPI’s, 121’s, appraisals etc.Ensure quality standards are met.
