Executive Chef, Schiphol, Netherlands, €5000 - €6000 per monthA leading company in the catering and hospitality industry is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Chef. This role will be integral to menu development, costing, and operational planning across various departments. The successful candidate will have substantial experience in high-volume environments, strong logistical skills, and a hands-on approach to kitchen management.Perks and Benefits for Executive Chef:Competitive Compensation: Salary between €5000 - €6000 per annum, with 8 holiday pay and a 10 bonus.Generous Leave: 25 holidays per year.Hybrid/Remote Flexibility: Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely while engaging in essential on-site operations.Key Responsibilities:Menu Development and Costing:Serve as the central hub between all operations, focusing on menu development and costing.Analysing yields, evaluating new products, and developing cost-effective menu plans.Engage with procurement to set up the entire system, including costing plans and portioning strategies.Operational Management:Work closely with all departments to ensure seamless execution of menu plans and operational strategies.Present four-cycle menu presentations, creating and costing plans for up to 150 dishes over a three-month process. Qualifications:Must-Haves:Extensive experience in high-volume environments such as events, concerts, or large hotel groups, managing diverse kitchens and producing thousands of meals per day.Strong expertise in logistics, yielding, costing, and portion control.Desired:Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills.4-6 years of experience in an executive role.At least 3 years in a previous job with hands-on kitchen management experience.This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and innovate within a fast-paced and challenging environment.
