Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Salary : A GBP 36,990.29 basic + shifts allowance of 33 A GBP 49197.09 per annum Bradford, West Yorkshire Continental shift Pattern : 2 days/2 nights : 4 days off Non contractual monthly bonus up to A GBP 400 per month Job Purpose Our client is seeking an electrically biased multi:skilled Engineer to oversee the Electrical and Mechanical maintenance of their plant at their Bradford site. This role includes ensuring compliance with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) systems, offering reactive breakdown support, conducting site facility repairs, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and engaging in project work. Accountabilities but not limited to:: * Execute all activities safely and professionally, adhering to legislative and company Health and Safety policies/procedures.* Strive to attain departmental targets related to Health and Safety and aim for continuous improvement in accident reduction.* Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive repairs, and statutory checks on electrical and mechanical systems, working collaboratively within the Maintenance Team to minimise machinery downtime.* Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with a cross:discipline team to identify and implement permanent solutions to faults.* Engage in Continuous Improvement projects to enhance safety standards, quality, and machine availability.* Undertake repairs on site facilities as necessary to maintain standards.* Utilise the Computerised Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) to document work completed and minimise fault occurrences. Planning and Organising * To plan maintenance tasks and prioritising jobs and workload in conjunction with the Shift Controller Internal and External Relationships * Will have daily contact with Shift Managers, Maintenance Engineers and contractors. Knowledge: * Proficiency in fault finding on various control systems such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), AC/DC motors, Drives/frequency inverters, and relay logic.* Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.* Completion of a time:served electrical apprenticeship.* Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs is desirable Skills and Experience: Essential: * NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.* Analytical, logical, and methodical approach to problem:solving.* Computer literacy.* Minimum of 3 years experience in a production maintenance environment with a multi:skilled approach.
