About the Role for the Trainee Air Pricing Analyst:We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Trainee Air Pricing Analyst to join the UK Air Pricing team. Based in Coventry, this role is integral to the UK National Air Pricing Unit, where you will provide bespoke Air cargo quotes for UK customers. Your ability to deliver competitive and accurate solution based quotes in a timely manner will be crucial to both customer satisfaction and company growth. Key Responsibilities for the Trainee Air Pricing Analyst :Provide high levels of customer service with a proactive, can do attitude.Process quotations, balancing customer expectations with company growth and profit goals.Ensure quotations are delivered promptly and with 100 accuracy.Maintain reports and conduct statistical analysis to monitor market trends and KPI reporting on wins and losses.Assist internal departments with booking placements and new bookings, ensuring files are accurately billed as quoted.Utilize software packages to facilitate the quote process, working with carriers and overseas colleagues. Candidate Requirements for the Trainee Air Pricing Analyst :Strong literacy and numerical skills; a customer service background is a definite advantage.Knowledge of freight forwarding is beneficial but not essential.Proficiency in Excel and basic Microsoft applications (Outlook, etc.).Ability to problem solve and adapt in a fast paced working environment.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a small, specialized team.A desire to pursue career progression in a globally recognized brand.Flexible working hours may be considered, offering an opportunity for those re:entering the industry or seeking a hybrid worklife balance.
