The purpose of this role is to manage an Individual Placement and Support (IPS) service within the Economy Departments Employment and Skills Team (funded by S106). This Supported Employment team will support residents who have complex needs or one or more of the following: :A learning disability.:Autism.:Mental health condition. The team will promote and assist with pathways to paid employment and facilitate employer engagement for residents who may not sustain employment without additional support in the workplace. The team will support service users to obtain sustainable paid employment and support those in work to maintain their current employment. This post will be key to ensuring the services delivered are of high quality and achieve positive outcomes for service users and will include managing a small team of supported employment advisors, leading case management (including managing a small individual caseload), partnership work, monitoring and reporting and ensuring that this Supported Employment team achieves targets.
