As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving new membership sales performance across all branded clubs. Reporting to the Group Head of Operations and the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead and manage the sales teams to ensure optimal performance and achieve yearly and monthly sales targets. Key Responsibilities Commercial Achievement * Drive sales performance through regular follow:up, KPI analysis, and feedback to ensure targets are exceeded.* Stay informed of new club developments and ensure sales teams are trained and briefed on features and benefits.* Produce weekly and monthly reports for the Group Head of Operations and other senior stakeholders as needed.* Contribute to Central Sales and Marketing meetings to share performance focus areas and requested actions.* Stay informed of local competition and market trends to maintain a competitive advantage. Sales and Service Delivery * Involve in key recruitment for sales teams, including induction, training, and coaching.* Provide constructive performance management to GMs for sales and direct management for Sales Managers.* Ensure best practices are shared within and between clubs and countries.* Ensure all reporting is completed as required, adhering to agreed formats and deadlines.* Constantly monitor and review team and individual performance, implementing interventions to optimize results.* Conduct effective performance reviews for Sales Managers, agreeing on future training and personal development plans.* Set KPIs, team challenges, stretch targets, and other objectives.* Drive ongoing membership referral and self:generated lead creation.* Ensure good CRM system compliance across all clubs and establish contract completion criteria.* Maintain and develop all departmental SOPs. Strategy * Ensure appropriate structures are in place to train, coach, and audit sales teams for quality, skill, and product knowledge.* Work closely with marketing colleagues to feedback on new member interests, demographics, and profiling.* Provide input on the yearly business plan and budget for new member sales headcount.* Prescribe clear action plans to General Managers to support and drive their teams. Staff Development * Recruit, coach, and develop Sales Managers and teams to deliver the best possible results and create strong managers and role models.* Set challenging objectives and targets for each club team through regular 1:to:1 Sales Manager meetings and performance reviews.* Ensure personal and team compliance with company guidelines.* Set up and deliver a monthly kick:off meeting for all Sales Managers. Key Performance Indicators * Adult and Junior new membership sales volumes* Total inquiry to set appointment ratio* Set appointment to tours held ratio* Tours held to sales made ratio* Membership yield through minimal promotional offers Requirements * Regional or Multi Club/Site Management experience, managing managers.* Degree:level qualification or relevant educational qualification.* 5+ years experience as a senior manager, ideally in membership sales for hospitality, fitness, or retail sectors.* Experience in business development with a proven track record of commercial successes and effective ROI.* High degree of business awareness and commercial acumen.* Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to meet changing deadlines and priorities.* Proven communication and influencing skills.* Strong drive to succeed and results orientation.* Familiarity with CRM systems, competence in Excel, and experience in compiling and presenting data analysis.
