This includes processing customer orders, responding effectively to customer requests, supporting the sales team, and proactively ensuring that the business consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations, maintaining the company as the preferred supplier.Key Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator Respond to sales enquiries and orders received via email, phone, and online platformsEnsure all customer orders are placed in a timely mannerConfirm and acknowledge all orders to customers promptlyStore customer purchase orders correctly in relevant foldersRecord and monitor lost sales, reporting them as necessaryHandle and report customer complaints efficientlyEnsure special customer requirements are followed before goods are dispatchedArrange collections and deliveries, adhering to customer guidelines and proceduresAllocate delivered stock to customers and brief operational team leaders accordinglyUpdate and manage customer order books, providing delivery timelines to customersAssist customers in identifying the correct applications from registration/chassis numbers and provide technical support where possibleComplete and circulate the daily sales reportsUpload customer deliveries to online platformsGenerate and supply advance shipping notifications and delivery notes to customers Experience, Skills and Attributes Required for the Sales Administrator Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detailSystematic approach to tasks with the ability to follow proven processesAbility to work independently and within a team, collaborating with other departmentsProficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, and OutlookExperience working in a customer-facing environment such as retail or contact centreAbility to work under pressure with a positive, enthusiastic, and resilient attitude What’s in it for you A starting salary of £26,500Hours: 38.5 hours per week, 08:30-17:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:30-15:30 Friday23 days holiday plus UK bank holiday, rising to 25 days holiday after five years’ serviceHoliday Buying additional 5 days option to purchaseLife InsuranceAnnual BonusHealth Cash Plan SchemeOn-site trainingExcellent career progression opportunitiesModern facilitiesAd-hoc employee functions including annual Summer Social usually held in June each yearCharitable fundraising opportunitiesFree car parking Application ProcessPlease forward your CV and covering letter to Julie as soon as possible, or call to discuss further.
