Currently operating within the M25, we are committed to sustainable and efficient deliveries. We are looking for motivated and experienced drivers to join our dynamic team. Job Description: As a driver in the Take Home Programme, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. Feel in control with your own van and the ability to go straight home as soon as you’ve completed your shift. We offer flexible shifts on top of fixed shifts to ensure regular shifts with competitive performance-based pay. Key Details: Employment Type: Self-employed. Region Location: For this job role, we are seeking drivers who live and are based in and around East London, ensuring you're working close to your home to limit your drive times. Shift Schedule: Shift pattern that varies week by week. HIVED operates 2 route cycles 7 days a week. Route Duration: Up to 9-hours (traffic dependent) Compensation: Earn a base of £13 per hour and up to £15.20 per hour (performance-based pay) Pay Guarantee: We guarantee a minimum of £100 per route Payment Frequency: Paid fortnightly Vehicle: Electric vehicle provided Sorting: No sortation required—all routes are pre-sorted for you with a rapid sort-time that means as a driver, you spend as little time in the depot as possible preparing for set off. Van Rental: No Upfront van rental charge PCN Discounts: Get a percentage of PCN discounts* Requirements: Experience: Multi-drop delivery experience preferred (not essential) License: Had a Full UK Driving Licence for 1 year No more than 6 points Documentation: ID/Passport/Right to Work in the UK/UK Settlement Status National Insurance number Proof of address DVLA Check code - please get this off the government website Preferred: 6 months of multi-drop experience Benefits: Vehicle Charging: HIVED covers the cost of charging the vehicle during your route Onsi Benefits Scheme: Access to various employee benefits and discounts such as insurance cover, cover for medical leave and more.
