Position Summary: Are you ready to take the wheel of our Aerospace sales team? Reporting to the Director of Sales – Magnesium Alloys, you will guide the strategy and activities to achieve our sales, business development, and product management goals. Your leadership will help us maintain our established business and expand it with new products and innovative solutions. This role requires a positive approach and extensive travel within North America, Europe, and parts of Asia. Main Responsibilities: Lead Aerospace Sales Manager (Growth Leader) Lead and Inspire: Champion a globally diverse team of Commercial and Technical Sales Managers, driving them to achieve sales revenue and business development targets for the Aerospace sector. Hit Financial Milestones: Consistently meet annual and quarterly financial targets, aligning with the company’s budget. Cultivate Customer Relationships: Foster and expand relationships with key customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Collaborate Across Departments: Partner with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless sales, quality, and on-time delivery performance. Strategize for Success: Develop pricing strategies, produce accurate sales forecasts, and craft strategic plans to drive growth. Represent the Industry: Attend and represent Luxfer Mel Technologies at industry conferences and exhibitions, showcasing our innovations. Evaluate and Improve: Conduct regular assessments and performance reviews with team members to ensure continuous improvement. Travel and Engage: Travel extensively to meet customers, distributors, and attend key events. Adapt and Excel: Take on any additional duties within your competence as requested, demonstrating flexibility and commitment. Experience: Lead Aerospace Sales Manager (Growth Leader) Experience in an Aerospace manufacturing environment. Experience in a Metals discipline. Proven track record of achieving sales targets. Management of long-term (multi-year) development/production programs with global Aerospace OEMs. Demonstrated ability to introduce and develop new products or services. Management of geographically remote reports. Understanding of forecasting and strategy development processes. Leadership of a team of senior, technical, and commercial colleagues. Skills & Knowledge: Lead Aerospace Sales Manager (Growth Leader) Ability to use own initiative, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure. Insight and strategic focus. Strong knowledge of technical sales techniques and processes. Achievement-driven. Knowledge of CRM software systems (Salesforce). Strong analytical focus. Demonstrated strategic view.
