If so, you could be just the person to work as the Transport and Warehouse Co:Ordinator based at my clients substantial transport and warehouse facility just outside Dover. The role includes: * Managing excellent communication with driving staff operations staff who are based at a different location* Assisting and supervising shipments in and out of the Warehouse* Conducting a daily stocktake of shipments in the Warehouse* Collating and distributing a daily Trailer location report* Participating in the weekend rota shared with the Transport Manager and Warehouse Manager* Assisting with the preparation of drivers timesheets and expenses.* Assisting with the preparation of Tachograph reports for Drivers to complete.* Daily interaction with on:site Workshop to ensure that Inspections and Repairs are completed and defects efficiently dealt with* Vehicle inspections, reviewing damage / defect reports* Assisting with the preparation of offload sheets for Warehouse staff and Drivers Worksheet.* Deputising for the Transport Manager and Warehouse / Site Manager as and when required Youll need: * Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)* A confident personality* A professional positive and helpful attitude to work colleagues and Suppliers.* IT literacy* Experience of working for a Transport company or warehouse would be ideal* To be presentable, energetic and enthusiastic* Strong organisational skills with an excellent memory* A forklift licence would be preferable This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and well:run business.
