The postholder will assist in the delivery of high-quality Community Life Choices, Short Breaks and Supported Living services and will undertake all aspects of premises caretaker duties. You will be responsible for the maintenance, security and cleanliness of buildings and grounds which ensures that all users have a comfortable, clean, safe and well-maintained environment in which to work and use the facilities.Service Care Solutions have a vacancy based in Doncaster, Yorkshire for an experienced Caretaker to join a team on a Full Time Temporary basis.The postholder will assist in the delivery of high-quality Community Life Choices, Short Breaks and Supported Living services and will undertake all aspects of premises caretaker duties. You will be responsible for the maintenance, security and cleanliness of buildings and grounds which ensures that all users have a comfortable, clean, safe and well-maintained environment in which to work and use the facilities.Your main duties will include; Carry out internal and external maintenance work as agreed with the service manager ensuring the work completed is to a good standard and cost effective.Maintain building and maintenance equipment Perform routine checks and minor repairs to heating, lighting, appliances and other fixtures within the buildingComplete minor repairs in other areas of the building as required to a good standardTo support in porterage duties to service users Liasie with external contractors ensuring compliance with Health and SafetyEnsure that all technology used for the service is in good working orderUndertake PAT testingOpen and close the building and setting/resetting alarmsOversee and undertake infection prevention control Complete cleaning duties within the buildingUndertake such other duties within the scope of the roleTo drive vehicles in a safe and responsible mannerWork with tenants advising on removal of bulky items in line with council guidelines Requirements: Hold a Full UK Driving LicenseBe flexible to work outside of normal hours including weekendsGood standard of written and spoken EnglishPrevious experience in Caretaking For more information on this role and to apply, contact Prakash today by emailing XXXX@servicecare.org.uk or call 01772 XXXXXX
