We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottingham to assist with the appointment of a Social Work Assistant , on a 3-month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £13.18 - £16.59 per Hour Responsibilities: To work to deliver the targets set down in the service and team business plan To deliver structured family and parenting interventions to children, young people, parents, carers and families in line with service guidance To keep timely and accurate records of work, including running records and the entry of data as specified To attend Multi agency meetings To communicate effectively with allocated lead professionals Qualifications: To hold 5 GCSEs at level A*-C (including English) or equivalent An understanding of child development, effective parenting and attachment theory Full driving licence (unless registered disabled) A minimum of two years experience of working with children, young people and their families (either paid or voluntary) Experience of delivering groupwork in a variety of settings Experience of managing challenging situations Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
