Job Title: Finance DirectorLocation: Sabah, Malaysia We're currently supporting a global hospitality group, with their search for a Finance Director. The group have a global footprint, with a portfolio of luxury properties across Europe, Asia, and Africa, and they are now looking to open a brand new luxury resort next year within Malaysia. Due to this exciting expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Finance Director who can take responsibility for all accounting and financial requirements for the hotel in an environment of tight control. You will also provide financial support, advice and expertise to the General Manager and hotel team, with the aim of maximizing value, developing the quality of the Finance function within the hotel. Ideally looking for those who have a wealth of experience operating within the Hospitality industry - with preference being given to those who are fluent in Malay and/or Bahasa. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or CIMA are also advantageous. What you'll be doing:Lead and guide resorts Financial Controllers in achieving financial objectives.Manage and assess internal control system in conjunction with Internal Audit Team.Develop and maintain accounting system and reporting in line with Hotel Management.Agreement and USALI compliant as well as Tax requirement.Analyze monthly financial reports, provide variance explanations and implement action plan.Maintain standard accounting chart and reporting.Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies.Build market intelligence capabilities report and identify areas for improvement to continually.drive performance and business results.
