As a Recovery Practitioner you will play a crucial role by supporting young individuals that are suffering with Drug & Alcohol addiction or their families with Substance Misuse addictions.Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Recovery Practitioner for a Non-profitable Charity in Oxfordshire. As a Recovery Practitioner you will play a crucial role by supporting young individuals that are suffering with Drug & Alcohol addiction or their families with Substance Misuse addictions. The Ideal candidate needs to be experienced within the field but also someone who is highly driven and can identify positivity within a service user and have the ability to develop potential within. You will be responsible for managing a case load of Children & Young People across Oxfordshire. You will be engaging with young people within schools, family centres and colleges. You will work closely with a range of partner agencies to support young people to achieve positive changes whilst providing opportunities to improve their life chances for a brighter future. Key role and responsibilities for a Recovery Practitioner; To build relationships with Young People aged between 8-25 years oldProvide young people and families advice, information and help to access practical supportTo carry a caseload of Young people and Young adultsCarrying out assessments, care planning, brief and comprehensive interventionsTo engage with young people and their families in various settings such as schools, colleges and local community venues. Minimum requirements for a Recovery Practitioner; Experience of working within the Substance Misuse fieldAbility to work effectively and efficiently both independently and as part of a teamExperience of community engagementExperience of delivering group work Our client vision is to be a World-Class leader in rebuilding lives, to inspire and empower people to live healthier and safer lives.
