We're recruiting a Senior Business Development Representative for the leading global provider of affordable clean solar energy.They offer the following benefits: Competitive salaries, uncapped potential earning, unlimited annual leave, car allowance, private health insurance, pension, hybrid working, a good work/life balance, paid staff training, and various corporate discounts among others.They are also a B Corporation which means every decision that is made has to have their employees and the planet at the forefront.What we are looking for:● Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing,Environmental Science or a related field.● Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the renewable energy sector.● Experience with AI or automated sales tools● Proven track record of successfully generating leads, closing deals, and achieving sales targets.● Strong understanding of the solar energy market, including industry trends, key players, and regulatory environment.● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills / comfortable on the phone, prospecting for business● Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.● Proficiency in CRM software, preferably HubspotRole Specifics:● Identify and target new business opportunities / qualified leads.● Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.● Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.● Capture & record deal qualification and customer data to progres the deal● Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and social media.● Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective strategies for customer acquisition and retention.● Provide regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to senior management.● Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and build a network of contacts.● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in solar technology.
