Sales Support Engineer £45,000 - £55,000 per annum + commission Remote Are you a technically skilled professional with a knack for sales support in the IoT industry? Known for their collaborative working environment and forward thinking approach, they’re an excellent place for ambitious professionals to grow.As a Sales Support Engineer, you’ll be a vital link between the sales team and their clients, providing technical support to ensure smooth project execution. You will work closely with their team to promote and integrate their cutting-edge IoT platform into client solutions. Your role will include everything from project management to troubleshooting and developing long-term client relationships. Working Hours: Flexible, but a minimum of 40 hours per week is expected. Responsibilities Collaborate with Resellers, Solutions Providers and Consultants to identify and implement new project opportunities, driving subscriptions sales for the platform.Develop and energise a network of resellers and consultants to increase the market penetration of the software subscriptions.Monitor the competitive landscape within assigned regions, adapting strategies to ensure sufficient sales volume and healthy profit margins.Cultivate and expand relationships with key accounts to sustain and grow business opportunities.Manage projects to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction. Experience A degree in Software Engineering or a related field is expected to fully grasp the technical aspects of this role.Time spent with TypeScript and JavaScript is desirable.At least 2 years of experience in a software engineering role is essential.Strong sales skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to adapt to multiple personalities.The ability to multitask with great organisational skills.Experience in SaaS sales and subscription management is beneficial.
