You will be joining a small team of lawyers dealing with a variety of matters, primarily contracts, grants, procurement and company law.Role: Commercial Contracts Lawyer Location: Herefordshire, remoteRate: £45ph-£50phContract Length: 3 months ongoing, 37 hours a weekThe Role: Handle a mixed caseload of subsidy control, company law, contract law and drafting a wide range of contracts including standard build contracts such as JCT or NEC4.When required, deputise for more senior members of the teamCarry out any duties required for the successful running of the contracts and major projects team The Person: A qualified barrister, solicitor or legal executive who is a fellow of CiLEX with an impressive knowledge of contract and company lawYou will be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of subsidy control, company law, contract law and drafting a wide range of contracts including standard build contracts such as JCT or NEC4. This will ideally have been within the public sector.Knowledge of Data Protection legislation would be an advantage but not essential.
