The building is made up of one bed flats, and mixed accommodation. They offer 24/7 support with a day and night staffing team. About the role:As a support worker you will be supporting young people and adults who would otherwise be homeless. Duties include supporting with securing housing, food and sometimes employment or access to basic amenities. You will be working closely with the local authorities and other care professionals including the police. About you:A successful candidate will have empathy, compassion, and resilience working with young people with mental health and early life trauma, including drug and alcohol misuse. Pay starts from £11.44 per hour PAYE and £14.57 per hour Umbrella. Requirements for you as a Support Worker: Experience in Support Work working with Children / Young people and young AdultsConfident in working independently and being proactive.Self-motivated individual with clear communication skills.Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the update service. Shift Times for you as a Support Worker: 12:00-20:00 / 7:30-19:30 / Waking Night 19:30-7:30Potential block bookings / temporary to permanent opportunities.
