They are currently looking for a skilled mechanical engineer to refurbish, repair and build CNC woodworking machinery in their workshop based in Leicester. It is imperative that candidates have experience of working in a workshop environment.The Role: - Refurbishing vertical panel saws. - Loading and unloading machinery. - Managing the warehouse and supporting the servicing and maintenance team where necessary. - Mechanical repair on wood machinery/dust extractors. - Using hand tools daily. Minimum Skills / Experience Required: - Mechanical engineering training e.g. apprenticeship ideal - Experience of workshop engineering - Organisational skills - managing their own workload - Forklift licence Beneficial The basics: - OT x1.5 for any hours worked - Monday to Friday - 33 days holiday total increases with service - Company pension The extras: - Entered into bonus pool after 12 months - Bonus and Private medical care for employees and family members after 1 years service - OT x1.25 weekdays, x1.5 Saturdays, x2 Sundays - Potential to be put through further training/qualifications Interested To apply for this Mechanical Engineer position, here are your two options: - "This is the job for me When can I start" - Call now and lets talk through your experience.
