Because of heightened workload, this employer is actively searching for a Rotating Equipment Inspector to join their team on a contract basis.Their UK flagship facility is based in LEEDS, just a few miles from the M1 & M62 motorways, meaning that the successful Rotating Equipment Inspector can easily commute from Wakefield, Bradford, Selby, Castleford, Pontefract, Huddersfield, Wetherby and Harrogate.Key Responsibilities of the Rotating Equipment Inspector will include: Actively working with suppliers of Industrial Rotating/Electro-Mechanical Equipment predominantly Motors and Gearboxes to carry out in-process and final inspections. Ensuring that all products comply with international, customer and internal specifications & standards.NCR Control; informing external providers of non-conforming products with a view of working to rectification with no/minimal disruption to production schedulesAuditing; conducting audits for existing providers as per agreed schedules as well as auditing new providers when applicableAttending a variety of meetings internally and externally, including project kick off, progress reports, order updates etc. Working Hours of the Supplier Quality Inspector: 37 Per week, spread across a sociable day shift pattern Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 15:30Friday – 07:00 to 12:30 In return, the Rotating Equipment Inspector will receive: Annual Salary: Between £40,000.00 - £50,000.00Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including public holidaysAnnual Company Wide Bonus Up to £1,700.00 PreviouslyPension Scheme: 15 Combined Contribution 9 Employer / 6 EmployeeHealth Cash Plan SimplyHealthAccess to the onsite canteen subsidised and gym To apply for this position, please click “Apply Now” and attach a copy of your CV.
