Senior Accountant / Client Manager - Waterlooville Exciting opportunity for a talented accountant to join a flourishing accountancy company and drive their business forward. As the successful candidate, you will manage bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management, providing accurate advice and ensuring exceptional service for clients. The Role: Engage clients through multiple channels, including phone, email, and face-to-face interactions Anticipate and address any outstanding issues with thorough follow-up Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new clients Prepare and submit accurate accounts and tax returns in a timely manner Provide expert advice on financial matters like cashflow, budgets, and pricing to help clients thrive Keep meticulous records through efficient bookkeeping and manage VAT returns and CIS Act as a liaison between clients and HMRC to resolve any inquiries that may arise Conduct comprehensive end-of-year financial and fee reviews to ensure clients' success. The Person: We're looking for a friendly and knowledgeable team member with a passion for client engagement and strong tax expertise. You'll provide direct counsel to clients while maintaining professional accreditation. You'll need at least 2 years of accounting experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Excel and Word. Knowledge of QuickBooks and Xero is a bonus. A positive attitude and genuine desire to collaborate with clients for better financial experiences are essential for success in this role.
