Due to continued growth, our client is currently looking to employ an experienced Commercial Insurance Broker.We are delighted to be working with one of the Uk's most successful insurance brokerages.If you would like to join a company which places a huge emphasis on valuing both their clients and employees, then please apply.This position will be working for a family friendly office which works with both large and small commercial risks as well as agricultural insurance.Due to continued growth, our client is currently looking to employ an experienced Commercial Insurance Broker who will inherit a book of commercial insurance business.The role would be working on a hybrid handler/executive role, with some client visits and a need to be involved in new business development e.g. cross sell opportunities / attend networking events etc. Salary: £30k to £50k dependant on experience plus extensive benefitsYou will ideally have over 2 years plus of experience within a commercial insurance brokerage with some experience in agricultural risks although this is not essential.About the role:Youll be responsible for overseeing a book of both large and small commercial insurance clients as well as agricultural customers across a range of farming risks.You will be a point of referral to more junior members of the team and you will use your expertise and experience to help with queries and occasional training/mentoring.You will look to identify opportunities to grow the book through offering relevant cross sales and referral leads. No Weekends Main duties in the role: Dealing with insurance policy renewalsResponsible for growing our clients commercial and agricultural client base through new business / arranging policies for new clientsBe a point of referral within the teamOrganise daily work to ensure compliance is met at all timesLiaise with Underwriters to help secure the retention of clients.Identify new markets, schemes and other opportunities to help grow the Business The skills you'll bring to the role: Thorough commercial insurance knowledge of at least 2 years is preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer service focusAn organised and effective workerAn aptitude for sales and new business is desired As mentioned above, our client has a family feel working environment and so the successful candidate will need to be a real team player.If you are interested in a long term career with a leading and fast-growing broker, please send your CV ASAP.
