Responsibilities include: Promote independence and choice as a keyworker to residentsConduct health and safety checks and report maintenance issuesAssess new tenants and allocate rooms based on proceduresProvide advice on tenancy management and housing benefitsEnsure room checks, void procedures, and minimal void periodsConduct risk assessments and liaise with partner agenciesFacilitate user participation and informed decision-making THE CANDIDATE We are looking for someone with previous experience in a customer-facing role and a genuine desire to help young people. The ideal candidate will have: Experience motivating individuals with complex issues such as substance misuse or mental health challengesAwareness of safeguarding processesKnowledge of housing benefits, Universal Credit, and local support agenciesAbility to assess and manage risk effectivelyExcellent communication and organisational skillsYou will need a driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
