The role of the Assistant Park Manager involves working closely with the Deputy and Park Manager to lead, develop, and motivate a team.Managing the daily operations of the park, ensuring exceptional customer service, and adhering to brand standards and procedures.Fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and shared responsibility, and act as a brand ambassador by being commercial, creative, and innovative in shaping the team culture.The role is paying £28k per annum with attractive benefits.The working hours are 40hours per week including weekend shifts.Key Responsibilities:Ensure the team upholds the company values.Drive the park's financial performance by managing KPIs and using financial and feedback data.Maintain high standards of customer engagement, activities, and service.Manage cost control, labour, and purchasing efficiency on-site.Ensure consistent H&S compliance and pass all audits.Ensure consistent F&B compliance and pass all audits.Ensure events are well advertised, fully booked, and successfully delivered.Be visible and lead on the park floor.Ensure smooth, well-run parties that create lasting memories.Build strong relationships with peers.Stay updated on internal procedures, industry trends, and competitor activity.SkillsMinimum of 3 years in a leadership roleExperience managing financial data and KPIsExperience managing and leading large teamsEvent planning and execution experienceKnowledge of welfare and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion EDI in the workplaceStrong customer service and engagement skillsExperience working with Special Educational Needs SEN children and customersKnowledge of industry Health & Safety standards and complianceTech-savvyProficient in core Microsoft applicationsBackground in service-led industries e.g., hospitality, adventure parks, family leisure entertainment is desirableIOSH qualification is desirableFirst aid qualification is desirable
