Customer Service Advisor One Strawberry Lane (the best view of St James’ Park) Start date 28^th October 2024 Newcastle upon Tyne City Centre – Hybrid - two days in the office and the remaining time from home (First four weeks will be full time office-based Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00) Full Time – 37.5 hours per week. Flexible shift rotation. Monday to Friday currently between 8:00 am till 6:00 pm on a shift rotation. Starting salary £23,464 pa pro rata, plus Brilliant Benefits including Health Cash Plan! Join our Customer Service Centre team at Home Group as a Customer Service Centre Advisor! In this role, you'll be the friendly, first point of contact for our customers, handling a range of queries from maintenance issues to rent and general inquiries. You'll work across voice and digital channels, ensuring every customer gets a consistent, brilliant service. Typical day as a Customer Service Centre Advisor * Handling a diverse range of customer queries via voice and digital channels, diagnosing issues, and providing effective solutions in line with Home Group policies. * Managing and updating customer information in our CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality throughout all interactions. * Collaborating with Maintenance, Housing, and other teams to ensure timely and efficient resolution of customer concerns and repairs. * Encouraging and assisting customers to utilise their online accounts, supporting them in performing transactions digitally. * Timely escalation of complex issues or complaints to the appropriate teams, keeping the customer informed and updated throughout the process. * Continuously sharing insights and feedback to improve our service, helping to refine processes and support your colleagues in delivering top-notch customer experiences. You bring * Strong focus on customer service with a knack for problem-solving and relationship management, ensuring every interaction is handled with care and efficiency. * Experience with managing customer information electronically, including familiarity with CRM systems and general computer usage. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey information clearly and effectively to all customers. * A proactive, positive attitude with resilience to handle changes and challenges, ensuring you adapt quickly and maintain service quality. * Capability to multitask and shift focus based on customer needs, taking personal responsibility for delivering results and meeting deadlines.
