About the Role Were seeking an experienced CNC Machinist who can set up and operate CNC milling machines to carry out a range of tasks such as drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting. Youll interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure each job meets exacting standards, while selecting and installing the right tools for each project. With the chance to program machines using CAM/CAD software, you'll make the necessary adjustments to guarantee optimal performance. Whether you're monitoring operations or performing routine maintenance, you'll play a key role in delivering quality precision-engineered components. Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am 4:30 pmFriday: 7:30 am 12:30 pmOptional night shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 pm 6:00 am Key Duties Set up and operate CNC milling machines to perform tasks like drilling, milling, tapping, and cuttingInterpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for each jobSelect and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and other accessoriesProgram machines using CAM/CAD software, adjusting variables for speed, feed, and performanceMonitor machines during operation to detect any deviations or malfunctionsPerform routine maintenance to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of machines Key Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Miller or in a similar role within a manufacturing environmentProficiency in setting up, programming, and operating CNC milling machinesIn-depth knowledge of CNC programming, G-code, and CAM/CAD softwareStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality resultsIf youre looking to work in an innovative environment that pushes the boundaries of precision engineering, this role is perfect for you.
