Senior Sales Manager – Wine Supplier – London / South East – Up to 50k + Commission Are you excited by working with a leading Wine business covering the South Get in touch This client is a fantastic and well established Wine Importer with a large presence Nationally. This company offers fantastic and inspirational range of products, pioneering the way in terms of producers and product.We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager who is passionate about wine and has a proven track record in sales management. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting their junior sales team, developing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the wine industry.This role is fantastic for someone who has intrinsic industry knowledge and a passion for wine development. The Role of Senior Sales Manager Key:Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and expand market presence.Mentor the junior sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including top-tier restaurants, hotels, and retail outlets.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including emerging markets and niche segments.Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform sales tactics and product offerings.Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management, providing insights and recommendations.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.The Ideal Senior Sales ManagerMinimum of 5 years of sales management experience, preferably within the wine or beverage industry.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.In-depth knowledge of the wine industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel as required.If you are interested in having a chat about this role, please forward updated CV’s to Mark at COREcruitment / XXXX@corecruitment.com COREcruitment are experts in recruiting for Hospitality, Catering, Leisure, Retail, FM, Property and Construction sectors.
