Live out Part Time Nanny - Upton, Chester Happy Nest Nanny & Maternity Agency Location : Upton, Chester Position : Part-Time Nanny (Term Time) & Full-Time (School Holidays) Start Date : As soon as possible (Flexible for the right candidate) Hours :Term Time: 2-3 days per week (flexible, but not Fridays) from 3pm-5:30pm. They can also add in more hours to the role with 5 extra hours of housekeeping if this is preferred . School Holidays: 2-3 days per week, 8:30am-5:30pm.Inset Days: Pre-arranged cover as needed.Occasional Babysitting: Pre-arranged for evenings and weekends. About the Family: They are a warm, welcoming family with two children G9 & B7 attending the local Primary School. The family has had the privilege of having a long-term nanny who is now retiring, and are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and friendly individual to become a valued part of their family. The ideal candidate will be someone who can easily fit into the family dynamic and help care for the children during after-school hours and during school holidays.Their daughter is artistic, loves dance, social media, creating content, makeup and clothes she also horse rides, , plays netball, swims and goes to brownies. Currently studying for 11+ Their younger son is a sports fanatic, plays lots of sports including a lot of football and ball games, tennis, basket ball, snooker, Playstation Fifa, Responsibilities: After-School Care (Term Time):Collect the children from the local Primary School (5-minute walk) at 3:20pm or later if they have after-school clubs (finishing at 4:20pm).Prepare and serve dinner, engage them in activities, and ensure they are entertained while parents work.Assist with school homework and support with weekly 11+ practice.Help prepare the children for any after-school activities scheduled for the evening.Occasionally facilitate and supervise playdates (pre-arranged and agreed with the family). Holiday Care: Plan and engage the children in fun activities, both indoors and outdoors. This could include playing sports (football, tennis, etc.), baking, arts and crafts, or trips to local attractions such as parks, the zoo, the Ice Cream Farm, trampoline parks, and more.Prepare snacks, lunch, and dinner during the day.Supervise and encourage playdates either at home or with friends Provide childcare on school inset days (pre-arranged with the family).Occasional babysitting during evenings and weekends Requirements: Previous experience as a nanny or in a childcare role.A friendly, energetic, and caring approach to looking after children.Ability to support the children with homework, particularly for the 11+ exams.Willingness to engage in sports and outdoor activities.Excellent communication skills and reliability.Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one).Paediatric First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain one).Ability to work flexibly with pre-arranged hours.Driving Licence is not essential but desirable for school holidays Happy to be around the family dog.
