Key ResponsibilitiesLead the mechanical design of microcontroller-based power electronics products, utilising your expertise in CAD software.Develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks, ensuring precision and functionality.Design mechanical components and assemblies for automated test and inspection machines, robotics, and production processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and the Innovation team, to integrate mechanical designs with electronic and software systems.Define and implement test strategies for mechanical components, ensuring compliance with functional and safety requirements. The Ideal Candidate Will HaveAn HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related discipline.Extensive experience in mechanical design with a strong emphasis on CAD, particularly SolidWorks.Proficiency in designing and testing mechanical systems for electronics products, including knowledge of machine safety protocols.Experience with additional CAD and design tools is a plus.Ability to work closely with software engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electronic systems.
