The client is offering a full time, contract position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority. The RoleKey purpose of the role is to be involved in developing and delivering highway schemes and associated engineering activities within the multi-disciplinary Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery Team. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: play a prominent role in the development and delivery of transport infrastructure schemes of varying size and scale.identify challenges within transport infrastructure and design solutions, working independently on some schemes and assisting the Team Leader on larger schemes.work closely with colleagues in the group throughout scheme development, including optioneering, conceptualisation, feasibility, design, approvals, procurement, and construction phases.be responsible for preparing project documentation, including drawings, schedules, cost estimates, tender and contract documents.
