Job Title: Ecologist (2+ years' experience) Location: Cork, Ireland (with travel required across Ireland) Salary: €40,000 - €45,000 (DOE) Contract: Permanent & Full time Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and energetic Ecologist with a minimum of 2 years' professional experience to join our client's growing team. Based in Cork, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in both the field and office environments. You will play a key role in habitat and bird surveys, contributing to impactful ecological assessments and reports. Key Responsibilities: Conduct habitat and bird surveys, ensuring high-quality data collection. Undertake fieldwork across a variety of locations across Ireland. Write clear, comprehensive ecological reports that meet industry standards. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on various ecological and environmental projects. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ecological regulations and best practices. Essential Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' professional experience as an Ecologist, preferably in a consultancy, with a focus on habitats and birds. Strong fieldwork skills and a passion for working outdoors. Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail. Full clean Irish driver's license. Enthusiastic, energetic, and capable of working independently and as part of a team. Benefits: Salary: €40,000 - €45,000 (DOE). Work Schedule: Enjoy a 4-day work week.
