Plant, trailer, tractor, HGV, Vehicle, Technician, Mechanic, Engineer, Heavy Equipment, Maintenance,An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer with experience in auto electrical and repair with heavy goods, HGV, trailer, tractor, Heavy Equipment, or specialist vehicles. The company is a leading provider of specialist vehicles for the transportation, construction, and emergency services sectors, offering excellent benefits. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be servicing, inspecting, and repairing various types of Distribution and Ro-Ro Tractors at customer premises. You will be responsible for: Perform routine servicing and inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance. Conduct technical inspections using manuals and diagnostic techniques to identify and repair faulty machine parts. Undertake thorough assessments of accident-damaged vehicles and compile accurate reports for necessary repairs. Obtain customer approval upon completion of work and secure signatures as required. Maintain high standards of preventative maintenance as per manufacturer's guidelines. What we are looking for: Experience in auto electrical fault diagnosis and repair, particularly with heavy goods or specialist vehicles. City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Familiarity with current road traffic laws, including speed limits and driver regulations. Understanding of modern diagnostic systems and techniques. Valid UK driving licence.
