An opportunity for a WELDING INSPECTOR to join our Engineering client based in South Yorkshire , who have been in business for over 60+ years , who work for a number of bespoke customers from Nuclear clients, Major steel-based companies and to a number of other industry contractors.An opportunity for a WELDING INSPECTOR to join our Engineering client based in South Yorkshire , who have been in business for over 60+ years , who work for a number of bespoke customers from Nuclear clients, Major steel-based companies and to a number of other industry contractors.Our client has already engaged in the delivery of a wide range of high profile projects and on the back of this they have been recently awarded another 3x major contracts and thus are looking to add a WELDING INSPECTOR on a LONG TERM AGENCY CONTRACT. DUTIES FOR the role of Welding Inspector : Compliance Establishing good working relationships with all managers, superintendents, production and Q.C. personnel to ensure effective operation of all Quality Control activities throughout their appointed Fabrication facility. Ensuring quality requirements are clearly understood, communicated, and achieved. Verification and inspection that the appropriate levels of quality are being met and that final product is produced in compliance with customer specification and expectations. Ensuring that full traceability of weld and material information is maintained by production personnel and that it is being recorded on the company database in a timely manner. Co-ordination of all QC activities including the generation of NDE requests. KEEN TO speak to Welding Inspectors : CSWIP Qualified. Nuclear Industry experience. Available for a long term contract , based in Sheffield. THE OFFER for the role of Welding Inspector : Rate up to £35 per hour. 12 month + Contract. Regular Days with midday Friday Finish.
