We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team who are involved in the design of confocal and super resolution imaging solutions to the global life science community. The successful candidate will join a dynamic group of scientists and engineers. Your individual responsibilities will include the build, alignment and testing of novel imaging systems, as well as on-site installation and maintenance and remote service support to a global customer base.OverviewWe are seeking a motivated individual to join our team who are involved in the design of confocal and super resolution imaging solutions to the global life science community. Your individual responsibilities will include the build, alignment and testing of novel imaging systems, as well as on-site installation and maintenance and remote service support to a global customer base.Education & experience- • Education- BEng, Meng/ MSc or PhD level in Physics, Electronics, Mechanical, or suitable Engineering discipline • Hands-on experience in aligning optical elements preferred• Experience in light microscopy preferred• Understanding of imaging preferred• Minimum of 2 years industry experience all industries acceptedMain Duties of the Role: • Build, align, test and integrate existing and new technologies, both in-house and at customer sites • Optical assembly and alignment• Provide installation, maintenance and repair services at customer sites• Experimentation in optics and light microscopy• Work as part of an engineering team on R&D projects for system development• Present ideas for system improvements• Provide both remote and on-site support for new and existing customers.Job Specifics & Benefits:• Ability to travel freely internationally, maximum of 12 days travel per quarter with time in lieu and travel bonus.• Small dynamic team with a focus on development both professionally and personal. • Competitive salary• Medical Insurance• Health and wellness benefits• Opportunities for professional development and growth• Collaborative and inclusive work environment• Flexible work arrangementsIf you are a dedicated and detail-oriented individual looking to join a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
