Role PurposeResponsible for the day-to-day Programming/setting/operating of the CNC machines Bretons and Kuka Robots.Key Responsibilities Programming of CNC machines and Kuka Robots.Ensuring daily targets are fulfilled.Implementing Lean Management, supporting 5S and TPMs.Adjusting of machine cutting paths or settings to optimise production while maintaining quality.Consider tools required to cut materials and program machines accordingly.Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines/robots as they arise.Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and TPMs.Train new employees on how to properly operate/Set CNC machines/Robots.Reading and interpreting technical Drawings and design models Essential Skills Must have experience and a good working knowledge of Power MillExperience and Knowledge of Openmind Hypermill SoftwareVericut experience desirable.Knowledge of composites and how composite components are manufactured.Basic knowledge of the make-up of race cars and road cars.Basic Knowledge of stock Control.A minimum of 2 years working within the F1/Motorsport/Automotive industry.Fanuc3 & 5 axis control systems for programming and operating.3-axis Fusion 360 CAM software, programme and operating.Power mill CAM software, programme and operating.Good Team worker and ‘can-do attitude’Good organisational and communications skillsAbility to work under pressure, and on multiple concurrent projects.To be proficient in Microsoft 365.H&S Awareness Working hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm 1pm finish FridaysIf you're a CNC Programmer ready to take your skills to the next level, apply now
