One of the UK’s leading mental health care providers is now looking for an Occupational Therapist to join the team at their specialist centre in Southampton.We have opportunities available for newly qualified or experienced candidatesThis Southampton site is a dynamic inpatient service for adults supporting the recovery of people experiencing acute mental health conditions, including schizophrenia, depression, and personality disorders with associated needs, as well as people diagnosed with an eating disorder or who have presented with ED symptoms.As part of a cohesive MDT, you will collaboratively implement effective, individualised and person-centred therapies that support patients in developing their problem-solving and self-care skills, in managing challenges, and in gaining independence.Your support will be key to enabling patients to make lasting improvements in their mental health and smoothly transition to less formal, community-based care.This is a permanent, full-time position 37.5h for an Occupational Therapist.Flexible working available. Person specification:Essential Registration with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.Desirable Professional experience delivering therapies within a mental health setting.
