Description:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead environmental and planning projects, ensuring the successful technical and financial delivery of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR) and related environmental deliverables. This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage multidisciplinary teams, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure compliance with planning and environmental regulations. Requirements: Honours Degree (NFQ Level 8) in Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent (essential) Postgraduate qualification (NFQ Level 9) in a relevant discipline (desirable) Minimum 5 years' experience managing environmental projects Strong knowledge of the EIA process and Irish planning policy/legislation Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects Membership in an environmental professional organisation (working towards chartership preferred) Experience in renewable energy or SID projects is desirable Responsibilities: Lead the EIA process and manage the technical and financial aspects of projects Provide environmental expertise and ensure project compliance with legislation Stay updated on planning and environmental legislation and local authority plans Liaise with project teams, clients, subconsultants, and stakeholders Manage project planning, programming, and resource allocation Oversee project-related Health and Safety obligations and risk assessments Handle cash flow management and invoicing in line with project deliverables Ensure quality compliance with relevant management systems (QMS/EMS/OHSAS) Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams, ensuring project scope changes are managed effectively This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects in a supportive, collaborative environment.
