They are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of FP&A to join their team based in Central London.Job Description:In this pivotal role, you will lead the FP&A function, providing crucial financial insights and strategic recommendations to drive business performance. You will work closely with senior leadership to shape the financial strategy and support decision-making processes across the organisation.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the FP&A team, ensuring accurate and timely financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.Develop and implement robust financial models to support business planning and strategic initiatives.Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.Collaborate with various departments to develop and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.Drive the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning.Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and analysis to the executive team and board of directors.Evaluate and improve financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence and integration planning.Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.Key Requirements:ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with significant post-qualification experience in a senior FP&A role, preferably within the insurance industry.Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams.Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders.Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion.Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.Benefits:Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Generous pension scheme.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
