We are seeking a committed and experienced senior Adult Social Worker to lead the Safeguarding Team on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands in the capacity of Child Protection Conference Chair & Safeguarding Manager.As the successful applicant you will;- be responsible for ensuring that there are robust structures, systems, and processes in place to promote a high standard of safeguarding adults.- provide a strong visible, operational management of services and multi-agency partnership working with safeguarding partners.- provide operational management of adult safeguarding social care services and line management to the Adult Safeguarding Team, providing operational direction on all aspects of adult safeguarding and any associated legislative changes- ensure the service has a comprehensive adult safeguarding training plan and will deliver and work with colleagues to develop and monitor the training resources as required. A full, detailed job specification is available on application.
