The role will suit a highly skilled Business Analyst who has a solid background within asset management.Job Description:Our client, a reputable asset management firm, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join their Edinburgh based team on an initial 6-month contract basis. The role will suit a highly skilled Business Analyst who has a solid background within asset management. Essential Skills/Experience: Highly experienced working in a business analyst role with a strong understanding of investment management processes.Hands-on experience with order management systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate business needs into technical requirements.Knowledge of investment compliance requirements would be beneficial.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration between various stakeholders.High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in documentation, testing, and analysis. Core Responsibilities: Document existing data sources used by the Investment Compliance team.Facilitate Transition of Investment Controls.Analyse results generated by the coded rules in the order management system.Test new reports and workflows in the order management system, verifying that they meet business requirements and align with operational needs.Collaborate with internal clients, such as trading and portfolio management teams, to test and validate workflows.
